We’re excited to share that Payson Jazz Series has officially received 501(c)(3) public charity status from the IRS!
Our approval is retroactive to January 6, 2026. Eligible donations made on or after that date—including gifts made before our approval arrived—are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
As you plan your year-end charitable giving, please consider supporting Payson Jazz Series. Donations made by December 31 can qualify for a 2026 charitable deduction, subject to applicable tax rules. Your generosity helps support our musicians and bring live jazz to our community.
For individual monetary donations under $250, a bank record or canceled check showing the organization’s name, donation date, and amount generally provides sufficient documentation for your tax records.
